Day 1. Sunday We depart and travel to Brentford, London. On arrival at the Novotel London Brentford the remainder of the day will be free for you to explore. Please Note: Bedrooms may not be available to check into until approximately 16:00. Relax with a drink in the bar, until we depart and make our way
to the Royal Albert Hall, one of the world’s most famous stages. Featuring the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, plus very special guests, VE Day 75 will be a concert of epic, stirring and emotional music from some of the greatest British composers. The concert will be raising money for SSAFA (the Armed Forces Charity) which supports those currently serving, regular and Reservist, in the Royal
Navy, Royal Marines, British Army and Royal Air Force, veterans and military families as well veterans from the Merchant Navy. On completion of the concert, the coach will return to the hotel. Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.
All tickets are located on the front row of the Rausing Circle. The Rausing Circle can be accessed via the public lifts at Doors 1 and 8. The front row (Row 1) is one step up. The Rausing Circle seating has a steep gradient and all stepped aisles are provided with support rails at the entry to each row of seats.
Day 2. Monday Following breakfast, we depart and travel to the RAF Museum London. The museum is Britain’s only national museum dedicated to telling the story of the RAF and its people. Discover the amazing heroes, heroines and trailblazers who have contributed so much to the development of flight and the RAF, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2018. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
