Monday We depart and visit Thirsk, the cobbled Yorkshire market town and home of renowned vet James Herriot. The epitome of a rural market town, its medieval cobbled market square, have an enduring charm that still enchants visitors today.
Tuesday Following breakfast, we include a visit to Durham. Durham City, with its medieval past, has eagerly embraced the modern with its captivating mix of history and heritage with contemporary culture. Durham City is home to one of the most recognisable landmarks in the UK, the majestic Durham Cathedral.
Wednesday Today we enjoy a visit to Beamish. Nestling in 300 acres, Beamish vividly recreates life in the North of England in the early 1800s and 1900s.
Thursday Enjoy a day visiting Whitby, a traditional seaside resort, famous for its majestic Abbey.
Friday We depart after breakfast and return home via Locomotion, The National Railway Museum. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
