Friday We depart and travel to Cromer, the gem of the North Norfolk Coast, a bustling seaside resort, with Victorian pier striding proudly out to sea. Don’t forget to try one of the famous Cromer crabs. We depart later this afternoon for the journey to the Holiday Inn Norwich. This evening enjoy a three course evening meal.
Saturday Today we enjoy a scenic journey on the Bure Valley Railway and cruise on the Norfolk Broads. Norfolk’s longest fifteen inch gauge line runs between the ancient market town of Aylsham and Wroxham, the nine mile trip runs through the picturesque Bure Valley countryside. On arrival in Wroxham we will enjoy a cruise on the beautiful Norfolk Broads and explore Britain’s magical waterland with free time in Wroxham.
Sunday We depart after breakfast and travel home via Sandringham, the much loved country retreat of Her Majesty the Queen, which has been the private home for four generations of the British monarchy since 1862. The house, set in 24 hectares of stunning gardens. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
The Holiday Inn Norwich is a modern hotel ideally situated for exploring Norfolk, 2.5 miles from the centre of Norwich. All bedrooms are en-suite (68 with Shower only) with television, telephone, hair dryer and tea/coffee making facilities. Additional facilities include a lounge bar and restaurant. Leisure facilities include an indoor swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room and gym. NO LIFT. Limited ground floor bedrooms.
