Monday We travel to Swansea.
Tuesday Following breakfast, we include an excursion to the Gower Heritage Centre, where we are met by our guide for a tour of the Gower Peninsula, which will take in the highlights of the varied landscape of the Gower. This afternoon we will enjoy some free time in Swansea, Wales second largest city and set on a five-mile sweep of Swansea Bay. The City Centre is a vibrant hub with over 230 shops and a fabulous market that’s home to all sorts of local delicacies.
Wednesday Today we enjoy a visit to Tenby, a gorgeous walled seaside town. Originally settled by the Normans, Tenby became a fortified town in the 13th century. Today, its walls surround the cobbled lanes and grand Georgian houses.
Thursday Enjoy a day visiting Cardiff with an included guided tour. Cardiff is a city proud of its culture, history and language which have undergone a fascinating journey over the last 2,000 years.
Friday We depart after breakfast and return home.
The Mercure Swansea is situated 4 miles from Swansea city centre and within easy reach of the picturesque beaches and attractions. All bedrooms are located on the ground and first floor and are all ensuite with television and tea/coffee making facilities. Additional facilities include a lounge, bar and restaurant.
