The North Wales Borderlands are the whole of Wales in one small corner with mountains, valleys, coast, castles and rolling landscapes.
Monday We travel to Mold, North Wales.
Tuesday Enjoy a day visiting the town of Llangollen with an included cruise on the Wharf Aqueduct and journey on the Llangollen Railway. The two hour trip on the motorised canal boat travels across the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. The railway runs for 10 miles upstream, following the River Dee from Llangollen to the town of Corwen.
Wednesday Today we enjoy a short visit to Mold Market, the largest and best remaining street market in North Wales. Later we continue to Chester with an included cruise. Enjoy a relaxing 30 minute cruise, journeying up river beneath the suspension bridge. On completion of the cruise there will be free time to explore Chester.
Thursday Enjoy a day visiting Llandudno, one of the largest and most popular of the Welsh seaside resorts. The town still retains much of its Victorian charm and is home to the longest pier in Wales.
Friday We depart after breakfast and return home.
