Saturday We depart and travel to London with included entrance to The Houses of Parliament. The visit to this magnificent building will take you on a journey, combining one thousand years of history, modern day politics and stunning art and architecture. Later this evening the coach will transfer you to the outskirts of London and the Mercure London Heathrow for one night dinner, bed and breakfast.
Sunday We depart after breakfast and travel home via the Buckingham Palace, the official London residence of The Queen. Buckingham Palace is one of the worlds few remaining working Palace’s. During the summer when The Queen makes her annual visit to Scotland, the Palace’s lavishly decorated nineteen state rooms are open to visitors. The State Rooms contain some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection including paintings, sculptures, porcelain and furniture. We depart later this afternoon to make our journey home.
The Mercure London Heathrow Hotel is a modern and contemporary hotel ideally located for visiting the bright lights of London and the magic of the West End.
